It’s done and on its way to the owner!
This was a fun project. I have several longies patterns, but none have the sock monkey design. I had to figure out how to put in the mouth, where to put the eyes. All in all, it turned out good.

A client of mine requested a sock monkey longies made for her son. I look around for a pattern that I could use to sell the finished product. I couldn’t find any.
What I ended up doing was coming up with my own pattern for the longies. It’s been trial and error process but I am done with the body of the longies. I am now working on one leg.
It was fun!

A customer of mine ordered a pair of overalls for her 18 months old son. She picked Brown Sheep Lanaloft handpainted yarn in Aqua Depths, and I picked Brown Sheep Lanaloft Worsted in Praline for trim. Buttons are from Tessa Ann Designs. I love her craft!
